robbie.hamilton@bristol.ac.ukHi, I'm Robbie, a PhD candidate specializing in Computer Vision at the University of Bristol. My research focuses on developing deep learning architectures for low-level computer vision tasks. I have a strong background in machine learning, software development, and physics. I am passionate about solving complex problems and producing research with real-world applications.
I'm also tech lead and co-owner at Curious Minds Science Ltd, where I currently lead the development of in-house growth and analysis software, along with optimisation of our ecommerce conversion funnels and PPC campaigns. I'm really passionate about the intersection of technology and business, especially in the modern world where businesses are heavily dependent on the exposure provided by large online marketplaces, search engines, social media platforms, and now increasingly AI.
Outside of academia, I enjoy contributing to open-source projects, rock climbing, and snowboarding. Feel free to connect with me to discuss exciting opportunities or collaborations!
